Multiple CF7 Forms on same page just one “Submit” button – Possible?

Is it possible to have two CF7 forms on the same page such that one submit button sends both?

For example, we have a default form that sends info that is available for everyone, And then if we use conditional fields to say “if this field equals ‘Yes’ then show this group which has another form in it” would the submit button on the “parent” form send for both?

Sorry if this has already been covered, I tried looking and what I did find wasn’t asking whether it was possible, just saying they were trying that and it wasn’t working the way they expected, and the answers didn’t make any sense to me.

Contact Form Line Breaks in Labels

Hi there,
I’ve added a contact form to a landing page and it’s working fine except for on the tablet, for which it fails to line-break the labels and the input fields. To replicate the issue, please adjust the window to <700px.

Mailchimp for WP error using EBD with CF7

I have hooked up Contact Form 7 integration with Mailchimp for WP plugin, and all worked well. However, when I run the conatact form through EBD – using the shortcode [email-download download_id=”549” contact_form_id=”544”] the subsrciber does not get added to my mailchimp lst. In the Mailchimp for WP Debug log I get the message:

It seems to be somehow replacing the subscribers email with “from_email|marn**@ma*****************.com” and saying this has been deleted (just for info the email “marn**@ma*****************.com” is my sites email address and is on my list as subscribed – I use this for test purposes).

Has anyone else had this problem or knows of a fix?

Interestingly, the last subscriber to try and get through the EBD linked contact form does show up on my Mailchimp list, but their email has been replaced with “from_email|marn**@ma*****************.com”. This subscriber then gets replaced with the next subscriber that tries to sign up who is again listed as having the email address “from_email|marn**@ma*****************.com”. It must therefore be an issue with EBD getting the subscriber email confused with the sites emil and for some reason sticking “from_email|” in front of it?

I’ve been struggling with this for nearly two weeks now so would greatly appreciate help!!

Local File Attachment stopped working

I run WordPress on an IIS server. I have several contact forms setup to email free reports from my website. They all used to work, and the path I used was an absolute path to a folder off the root of my C drive.

I recently discovered that the reports weren’t going out with the emails anymore. When I checked the the content forms the error was that I was specifying files outside of the WP-CONTENT directory, which is true, the folder that I kept my reports in was not in the WP-CONTENT directory.

I moved my reports to the WP-CONTENT directory and updated the info in the FILE ATTACHMENTS box to just file_name.pdf, but when I do that CF7 says “It is not allowed to use files outside the wp-content directory”.

Is there something special about specifying file names and / or paths on an IIS implementation of CF7?

reCaptcha language

Hi All

I have just added a reCaptcha to a contact form. All seems to be working
My question is about language … But is there a way to change the language shown in the reCaptcha widget ??

I see on the page https://developers.google.com/recaptcha/docs/display under section Configuration that you can set the language in the reCaptcha Javscript api insert with parameter ‘hl’. Eg for this would be … /api.js?hl=de …
So it would be good to affect this by having a lang param for the [reCaptcha] form tag

where the plugin author Takayuki Miyoshi says that a specific lang param is not necessary, because Google automatically detects the language …- well , at Google nothing has changed – this still does not always work …

In my case my site is for users in Switerland. It has a ch domain. There are 4 official national languages in Switzerland – German, French, Italian, Romansch … and then there are users who also use English. I have a multilingual site in English and German, with a language switcher. I have the relevant <link> with hreflang attribs.

Result : the reCaptcha widget on both English and German sides are both in English.

Use the language switcher at the top left to switch to German

Also, what if tomorrow Google changes there criteria for lang detect from who knows what to something else ?
Also why does the Google reCaptcha api.js accept a language param if the automatic detect works so well ? !

Lets just have a [reCaptcha] form tag param to hard set the language … Simples …

I await any feedback on this.

Error 500 after trying to update and activate the contact form 7 plugin

Hello,

I work on an already existing website on wordpress, and I wanted to install the extension “Conditionnal fields” of the contact form 7 plugin.
However, after installing the extension, it has problems to work correctly.

So what I wanted to do was just to update contact form 7 from 4.1.1 to 5.0.5 (the last one), but when I try to do it manually (wordpress don’t propose the update automatically, I also don’t know why), I got a 500 error.

I tried to activate the debug mode in the wp-config.php file. Here is the debug.log file content : https://file.io/z3AGHG.

I saw that the php version used was 5.6.5, I don’t know if it is part of the problem.

Hello ArtKanMedia,

instead of the non-customizable form people get, when they checkout, it would be cool, if you could select a self-made Contact Form 7. And this on a per Venue Basis.
This way it becomes much more adaptable to different requirements withou you having to code contact forms.

Issue with Contact Form attachments

Hi,

We’ve a contact form in our wordpress site. It was working well till yesterday.
Since yesterday the form submission has some issues when uploading files.
Without files, the forms submits well. But when attachments are included and Submit button is clicked the forms just hangs. No JS errors seen in Chrome debug mode.
And it works well in lower environments (test environment). Issue is only on prod server on both desktop and mobile sites (in chrome,safari, IE) which is making it difficult to check the issue.

Any clue as to what could be the reason? Its a blocker now for business.

Quick google shows that it could be related to JS conflicts. But cant see any JS errors in there. How to troubleshoot\check logs for the server? Where can I get the log file for wordpress site.

Recaptcha CF7 iframe content replaced

Hello,

I am having trouble with recaptcha for product pages.
In the other pages it is working fine.

You can see it by pressing in right side, top header, “Aiuto”.
The captcha will be replaced in few seconds with the website. Actually the iframe’s content is replaced with the website content.

Please help!

Client ID and Client Secret code in WP Mail SMTP for Gmail Mailer

Hi,
I am using wordpress with sydney theme for our website.
We have a Contact Us page with Contact form. Everything is fine, only email is not getting send. I am using Contact Form 7 for my contact form. I have installed the WP Mail SMTP plugin. Now from Mailer option if I choose the Gmail option, then it asks me for Client ID and Client Secret. What should I do?

Clear Button

Hi,

I’m using CF7 Signature plugin on my website, but the thing is it’s in Portuguese and English.

For the English part it’s ok to have it as a “Clear” button, but for Portuguese it makes no sense.

How do I change the label on the button?

phpMailer 5.2.22

Hi All,

My provider claims that the spam from the feedback form on my website comes from the phpMailer version 5.2.22 module. Spam copies the old format of the letter and now differs from messages from the feedback form.
Is it right that phpMailer 5.2.22 really vulnerable and what should be done to fix it?

p.s. Current version phpMailer 6.06

reCaptcha issue

Contact Form 7 is a recommended plugin for this theme; however, adding reCaptcha to the form makes the form fields unclickable. It’s definitely a theme issue and not a plugin conflict. Is there a fix for this?

Contact Page Format

It appears that the contact form text areas on my page are arranged in three columns. Where is this format being generated from and can I change it for just this page? I don’t mind the name, email and subject fields on one line, but I would prefer the message field be full width with the submit button below it. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Hi Guys,

I really need some help, I am working on the following site: http://btc0o.com

I am using this domain before I move it to the REAL domain, however that’s not the issue.

If you scroll down to the contact form located at the bottom you will see that when you click the fields and click of them you can no longer read your text, is there anyone that can provide me code that makes these text boxes WHITE at all times so people are able to see them?

I also need the “SEND” button more visible.

Would really appreciate any help as I cannot find any custom CSS anywhere to do this 🙁

Just don’t know what to do, I have just created the Contact 7 Form added it to the page but need to change the colors, please advice me.

Hipaa and Contact Form 7

Hi,

I’m wondering if there is any way to make contact form 7 hipaa compliant, or if I need to use a different plugin. Will CF7 sign a Business Associates Agreement (BAA), which is a requirement for my particular needs?

If not, which do people prefer between gravity and caldera forms?

Thanks for any guidance! I’d prefer not to have to re-do all my forms 😐
