When I first launched this site in March the CF7 plugin was working fine. Then yesterday my company got an email saying the form would not submit. I have deactivated all other plugins and switched the theme and the problem continues. My company self-hosts the site and my sys admin says there is nothing on the server blocking the form from working. We have another site that uses CF7 and the problem is the same on that site as well.

Hi,
I’m using contact form 7 for my contact form.
We have products listed on a page and visitors can send questions per product.
So a sample line could be:
Product 123, description, more info.
When someone clicks on more info the page: contact.php?id=123 is called.
When the person submits this form, I would like to receive the id=123 as well in the email message.
How do I do that?

Contact Form 7 is not working on mobile

After reading all the similar / existing topics, unfortunately no topic gave me the right solution. Desktop works fine but on mobile after hitting the submit button 2 circling arrows keeps circling forever. What do I have to do to fix this problem on mobile?
In the past CF7 worked very fine. Answers like change theme and deactivate all plugins are not an option.

Contact Form7 in Homepage Slider
In THBusiness Version: 1.0.8, I was able to add this to the “Slider Description 1” in Theme Options and have a contact form in the slider.

In THBusiness Version: 2.0.6 I cannot get that functionality.
This is the output and does not render a contact form. It just displays this text.

How can I accomplish this?

Plugin conflict
I found an incompatibility between the Publish to Apple News plugin and Contact Form 7. When you try to save anything in Contact form 7 you get the message
“The link you followed has expired.”
I also sent this message to the creator of Apple News Plugin so you can work together and resolve the problem. Other than this little problem I love your plugin very helpful.

Contact Form 7 – Disable line-breaks in email
I have created a Contact Form 7 form with a textarea. In this textarea you can type text with line-breaks. When de form is send I do not wan’t to get these breaks in my e-mail. I want an inline text. Anyone?

Feature Request: Special Mail Tags support
It would be great if Contact Form 7’s Special Mail Tags could be used (http://contactform7.com/special-mail-tags/) in the event tracking fields. Right now if I pass [_url], it looks like it just includes that as raw text, but it could be very useful to pass some of these values on to Google Analytics.

Divi Text Not Showing
Hi guys,
I’ve been using cf7 for a while now and I must say, good job!
At the moment the problem I’m experiencing is that any text I insert using Divi builder just vanishes and although the I-beam cursor still shows when going over the text I cant seem to find out the reason why the text doesn’t show (the text is located in the middle of the screen on the background image).
I’ve inspected suspected elements and found no luck within the css of both cf7 and divi.
I’ve removed and inserted the shortcode and the problem definitely resides within cf7
Any idea what the cause of this could be?

Form won’t submit on iPhone but works on Android
Just in the last day the spinner goes endlessly on submit but only on iPhone. The form works ok on desktop and on Android phones. Any idea what could be causing this?

Not working on same server but latest CF7 / WordPress
Hello. My contact form 7 will not send on a new version of a site. My old site on the same server is using CF7 4.4.2 with WP 4.6.11. The new install is using CF7 5.0.2 with WP 4.9.6. The new site shows the red failed to send message.
I tried using the WP Email SMTP plugin. That would allow it send a test email in the plugin settings page. But it made no difference to CF7.
I read some posts about changes to WP and JSON but that wasnt very clear?
What else can I do? Any settings I should be changing or asking the web host about?
I’ve also made sure the form is using <wordpress@Mydomain> in the from field too.

Contact Form 7
Hello,
I’ve got a site with contact form 7 installed on it and it worked fine for 2 weeks.
Then suddenly the contact form won’t send because of the contactform get the message seen as spam. I’ve updated the plugin and still won’t send. I deactivated askimet en removed it, still won’t send.
I have no idea what to do..

Contact 7 “is being exploited from out of country IPs”
I had weird referral sites: and the message I got from my local site host is “It appears that your contact us email from is being exploited from out of country IPs which is the primary reason for the odd looking statistical data.
..That bots that are exploiting the email form on your website are not exploiting it enough to trigger our internal alerting, but I would suggest that you either disable the email form or work on hardening the form to avoid current and future issues.”
The site in question has Contact Form 7 5.0.2, Contact Form 7 Honeypot 1.13 and Flamingo 1.8.

An issue with a flag placeholder International Telephone Input Contact form 7
Hi! Thanks for a great plugin.
It worked correctly for a long time. (example http://prntscr.com/k1yt4y) But today I faced with an issue. Flag placeholder doesn’t work anymore and users see an only grey rectangle instead of the flag of their country. (example http://prntscr.com/k1ziez)
I didn’t change anything on my website and, I think it’s the issue with the plugin.

contact form 7 giving error with cache plugin
Hi Team,
I am using Contact form 7(Version 5.0.2) and W3 Total Cache(Version 0.9.7) in my website. I am using multistep form and when you go to next page of- http://www.bunkr1482.com/nu-stp1/ the form did not get submitted and after checking source code only i have found that ajax error is coming like – “Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0”. After going through FAQ page i changed cache garbage collector time to 3600 sec but still getting same error and form submission is stopped.Please check this issue and reply me ASAP.

Style Contact Form 7 Message
This plugin is really useful for sending contact form 7 submissions to discord. But they are almost impossible to read since they just get sent as one big bundle of letters.
Is it possible to change the styling?

Is iThemes Security plugin blocking REST API for unauthorised user?
I am using iThemes Security Plugin for security purpose while I installed this plugin I am unable to submit my contact forms. it is showing error for unauthorised user, all forms on my site were working before I installed iThemes Security Plugin.

Not receiving emails at a specific domain name
Hi there,
My client is having problems receiving emails form this contact form. When I link a few different personal and work (Gmail hosted like my client’s) addresses, it works – just not with their work email (hosted by Gmail).
I have tried using Flamingo – it shows the forms being filled, just not being received by client’s email address.
Help is much appreciated. Worked on this site 2 years ago – the last website I touched.
