@hologramabc - This is most likely due to a Javascript conflict with either your current WordPress theme or one of the other plugins you are using - see Contact Form 7 Email Issues - there is a link there that covers Javascript Conflicts.
If this is the case, attempting to redirect to another page, will also likely be stopped by the Javascript conflict.
"A link to the page on your website where the contact form is located" as suggested by Wayne-Hatter will allow others to confirm this.
